The blue tape serves as a temporary marker to highlight areas where adjustments, repairs, or additional work are needed. A blue tape walkthrough allows project managers, architects, and contractors to meticulously inspect the construction site. By using blue painter's tape or a similar adhesive tape, they can mark areas that require attention, correction, or further work. I have created a blue tape walkthrough booklet that helps us as we walk through the home to assure we do not miss anything! I want to do my best, as you Realtor, to avoid having to call the builder for repairs during your warranty. I always recommend getting a professional inspection on any property you are purchasing. This is likely the largest investment of your life and I want to make sure it is a quality investment. The inspector will see items that a simple visual inspection will not. For example, the inspector will check all of the outlets. If you found this out after closing you home would be under warranty and the electrician would come fix it but it is best to get everything taken care of up front instead of finding items one at a time after moving in. In the realm of new construction, attention to detail is the cornerstone of success.   • Oak Island Scenic Walkways: SE 9th Street

    The scenic walkways on Oak Island, North Carolina provide beach access, walking trails, different views of the Davis Canal and Montgomery Slough. Come check out the 9th Street Walkover with me: As you travel over the long bridge on the 9th Street Walkway there is a floating dock on either side of the walkway. You cross the bridge on this walkway to cross over the Davis Canal and the Montgomery Slough. Benches along the bridge allow for a longer stay to enjoy the scenery. There is a sidewalk from the walkway to the beach access allowing for a safe trip to the beach! It took me a total of 6 minutes to walk the 9th Street walkover from the beginning of the bridge to feet in the sand!
